2020 Red Wine ~ Columbia Valley
$55.00
Chris Peterson | Winemaker
This wine features a brilliant nose of blackberry compote, boysenberry reduction, mountain flowers, cigar box, vanilla bean, and crushed herbs on the nose. The palate is perhaps the most concentrated and complete yet for this wine, with deep dark black currant, plum, violet, savory herbs, licorice root, and mocha powder. Due to its top fruit pedigree and heavy Cabernet component, this wine should age very well. Drink 2024-2040.

“Dense, chewy and loaded with rich black fruit flavors, the 2020 ‘Columbia Valley’ Red Wine by Passing Time is a serious value from this challenging vintage. Mostly coming from the Discovery, Klipsun and Seven Hills Vineyards, this nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon wine (7% Merlot blended in) displays mocha, tar and violets on the nose with shades of menthol.”
