At first sip, this fruit-forward Merlot entices the palate with flavors of red berries and cherry. Soon after, notes of berries, black tea, cocoa and spice develop and linger on the finish. This Merlot pairs beautifully with savory dishes like grilled Portobello mushroom burgers, rich stews, meat pies and roasted root vegetables. It’s also delicious with aged Canadian cheddar.
